A Woman who is our more than a mother, she is our Friend, MarJean Zollinger

Modesty has always been a strong belief system engaged in my mother. My mother at a young age, decided to be modest in her fashion, even though the style when she was growing up said otherwise. My mother has instilled in me a strong value of virtue and chastity. I remember when I was confronted with a major difficult decision in my modeling career in reference to the apparel I was being asked to model, which was extremely immodest, my mother's soft and kind pushes in the right direction at the age of 18 saved my life from a painful tragedy! As I often reference to the quote made by a wise and honest man about the strength about the strength of women, I often smile as it reminds me of my mother. "It is so tremendously important that women stand strong and immovable for that which is correct and proper. When you save a girl, you save generations. I see this as the one bright shining hope in a world that is marching to self destruction. We must never lose sight of the strength of the woman!"

My mother has influenced many women on her stand for righteousness. I honor her goodness. I honor her strength to do right and lead her daughters towards a future of happiness with living principles that have guided me on a daily basis to live a good and wholesome life!

Mom, thank you for taking the time to teach me and instill modest values, even when I thought I was right and you were wrong! You are my inspiration to do right and to lift and help others. Thank you for walking this life with me and having faith in me to excel above what I only believed possible. You have saved a girl....me! I love you mom more than yesterday!

Women should be treated as a delicate flower never to be defiled or misused in anyway. If we treat our bodies with respect than the men with whom we associate with, will treat us as we should be treated - as a Queen. If we present ourselves as royalty, stand tall, and walk tall as daughters of God, the world will see our goodness and desire this for their own. We would change society as we know it and there would be less children born out of wedlock, less teenage pregnancies, and less promiscuous activity in general. What a glorious world we would live in if modesty was just as important as breathing. It is important as women that we stand tall for what is right, good and holy. If we can change just one girl's perception of modesty then we can change generations to come. I owe my mother this knowledge I have attained throughout my life. Mom, our legacy will live on, this I promise. I love you.

As a young woman a specific value system was instilled in me by my mother. This value system was the power of modesty, strength from integrity and the beauty of virtue as a woman. My mother taught me these values, but more importantly she lives these values. She was determined to maintain a modest lifestyle, fashion and expected her daughters to do the same. She taught and showed me of my divine worth by her modest example. I saw and learned that a modest woman emulates an inner acceptance of oneself, an unseen power of virtue and self-worth. I learned that women need not show off their bodies for attention nor affection. My mother's modest example and devotion to a virtuous lifestyle inspired me and gave me strength to do the same in my youth when a women's divine worth was misconstrued and fleeting in
the society around me. My love and appreciation goes out to my mother. The woman who inspired me and still does. Thank you mom. Because of you I am a modest woman! I love you.
